Essentially, don't expect to find a revamped or a completely new Phantom Abyss experience with this 1.0 update, because that isn't what this is. Instead, what you'll find is simply an upgrade and slight improvement to various aspects and parts of the entire framework that constitutes what Team WIBY created in the first place.

I’m confident that additional polish and content are coming down the pipeline, but I need more from the current state of the game.

As far as I can tell from reviews and community commentary, these range from "2EZ4ME" to ragequittingly hard which for me at least is the sweet spot of a daily mode.

Phantom Abyss is a massive asynchronous multiplayer game that casts players into procedurally-generated temples and tasks them with retrieving the sacred relics hidden within deadly chambers. Intrepid adventurers will dodge scores of hidden traps, leap treacherous chasms, and flee relentless guardians through branching paths until one of the relics are claimed or the devices of death overwhelm them.

There are also Em excesso levels that you can access by collecting keys from chests, which are scattered throughout each map. 

1.0 update sorta killed the vibe for me lots of changes that are worse than in previous versions. I would recommend this if it just rolled back a few updates.

is a bad little game. I think it’s quite well made, and it has a great batch of ideas behind it. I think it executes on its vision to the letter, but that that vision will only appeal to a Phantom Abyss specific audience.
